I am interested in creating a community that will empower students to make the most out of our PhD experience. I strongly believe that discussing our wins and challenges and troubleshooting them together not only helps to make everyone's experiences visible, but also to find common ground on how to tackle them. A podcast is a great platform to hold such discussions and to bring together diverse people with interesting points of view that will broaden our own perspectives.

I finished my PhD journey in September 2023 and I am also a parent. And I would like to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and experience about the whole adventure of doing a PhD, as well as to share research highlights and scientific contributions.

I believe that this project might help new (and not so new) students to feel a little less lost and alone in their work. I also think it could be interesting to learn a bit more about science communication and the whole editing process. I am looking forward to working together on this project and to sharing more about myself.

I was enthusiastic to join the podcast team. As a second year PhD student, I have gained a lot of experience and tips and tricks that could be useful for future fellows.

I really like podcasts as a medium and I consume them almost daily. It would be a great opportunity to learn how podcasts are produced and to create content that I would like to listen to myself.

Being part of the PhaNuSpo podcast team is a great opportunity for me to address different aspects of PhD student life, to understand it better and to make the best out of it. I would also love to communicate more with my peers in the team as well as with the podcast audience.

I am from Turkey and after completing my master's degree in molecular biology and genetics, I figured out that I needed to learn more. This urge lead me all the way to Vienna. Since then, a whole new chapter of my personal and academic life has begun. With this podcast, I believe that I can meet new scientists with the same challenges and urges in their lives, and we can share our experiences and knowledge in a safe and friendly place.

I joined the PhaNuSpo podcast team because it is a great chance to collaborate with other PhDs on a meaningful project. I believe in the power of podcasts to deliver valuable content in an accessible way, and I'm excited to contribute to that goal.

As I am still at the beginning of my studies I look forward to getting tips from other students through the podcast. I like to listen to podcasts myself, so it is very exciting to get an insight into the steps that go into the production of a podcast episode. It is also great to have the opportunity to discuss different topics that might be interesting or helpful for other students.

I'm a Marie Curie fellow and for the last two years I've been working with some of the coolest scientists in the field of artificial intelligence for drug discovery in different pharmaceutical companies. So my motivation to participate in the podcast production is to share my experience and also my scientific network. Secondly, I always have a lot of ideas and it would be nice to expand my creativity outside science.

I am always curious about everything and ready to meet people from different backgrounds and share interesting ideas or insights. I am interested in this podcast because I have never tried it before and would like to see and learn what people are doing. The PhD process can be kind of frustrating and tough.. Getting involved in an activity you have never been involved in can also be a way of cheering yourself up.
