Head and Steering Committee

The VDS of Pharmaceutical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences is governed by Directorate consisting of three (vice-)heads and a steering committee consisting oof three PI panel members and six student representatives representing the three main research areas. The faculty members and student representatives are nominated and elected for a two-year term, with the possibility of re-election.

The Head and Vice-Heads are the main representatives of the VDS PhaNuSpo  within the Faculty, the University of Vienna and the externally, and are responsible for making and executing final decisions. They ensure the continuity and development of PhaNuSpo and oversee all matters related to the organisation and ongoing activities of the Doctoral School.

The Steering Committee discusses and plans the use of the budget, the strategic direction of the school, upcoming events, meetings, annual reports/evaluations, and is responsible for compliance and conflict resolution.
